Echoes of Lisbon

Thiago Navar

Echoes of Lisbon is Thiago Navar's nostalgic tribute to the city that remains part of you long after you've left it behind. Blending Luxury Portuguese-Latin Pop with melodic dance production, smooth R&B and subtle Fado emotion, the track contrasts a hypnotic electronic melody with delicate Portuguese guitarra phrases that gradually echo one another. Moving between English and Portuguese, Thiago remembers Lisbon's streets, balconies, morning coffee and the Tagus while reflecting on the strange permanence of home. Nostalgic yet uplifting and firmly danceable, Echoes of Lisbon captures the feeling that you can travel the entire world and still carry the sound of home inside you.
