Where the Ocean Sleeps

Thiago Navar

Where the Ocean Sleeps is one of Thiago Navar's most atmospheric and emotionally reflective records, blending Luxury Mediterranean Pop with deep Latin rhythm, smooth R&B and melodic house. A haunting bowed-string melody floats above rolling bass and sophisticated electronic production as Thiago reflects on the people and moments that remain with us long after time has moved forward. Moving between English and Portuguese, the song uses the endless nighttime ocean as a metaphor for memory—the place where things we thought we'd lost somehow continue to exist. Hypnotic, deeply melodic and still driven by an infectious pulse, Where the Ocean Sleeps brings a cinematic emotional depth to the closing chapter of the album.
