Chasing Forever

Kealan Varek

Chasing Forever finds Kealan Varek questioning why people spend so much of their lives waiting for the future to become perfect. Built around a cascading piano-and-synth melody, polished electronic rhythm and Kealan's distinctive melodic vocal, the song begins with dreams of someday—more money, more time, distant cities and a better life—before gradually recognising the value of what already exists. A laugh in the kitchen, cold coffee, an ordinary evening and the person sitting beside you become more meaningful than any imagined destination. Uplifting, romantic and reflective, Chasing Forever arrives at a simple realization: maybe forever isn't waiting somewhere in the future—maybe it's made from the thousands of ordinary moments we nearly forget to live.
