Last Night on Earth

Kealan Varek

Last Night on Earth finds Kealan Varek imagining what would truly matter if two people knew they had only one night left together. Against an evolving blend of intimate piano, modern pop rhythm and sophisticated electronic production, money, unfinished plans, old arguments and future ambitions gradually become irrelevant. But the song's real revelation comes when Kealan questions why it should take the end of everything to make people appreciate the time they already have. Romantic, urgent and deeply melodic, Last Night on Earth ultimately isn't a song about the world ending—it's about learning to live and love as though time was always worth protecting.
