Satellite

Kealan Varek

Satellite finds Kealan Varek caught in the gravitational pull of a relationship that never completely ended. Blending atmospheric synth-pop, contemporary R&B and a subtle two-step rhythm, the track moves around a shimmering melodic hook as Kealan describes two people who repeatedly try to move forward yet continue finding their way back into each other's orbit. Rather than giving their story an easy resolution, Satellite leaves them suspended between distance and connection—never quite together, but never truly free of one another. Sleek, hypnotic and highly melodic, the song asks whether some people are destined to keep circling each other forever—or eventually collide.
