Golden Islands

Josiah Rivers

Golden Islands takes Josiah Rivers' reggae foundation into euphoric club territory, fusing deep Caribbean rhythm with Afro House and progressive trance. Beginning with a hypnotic plucked melody, rolling reggae bass and sparse percussion, the track gradually expands until its signature motif erupts into a soaring electronic release while the reggae swing remains underneath. Lyrically, Josiah looks back on those rare places and nights that become almost golden in memory—the ocean, warm air, music, friendships and moments when life seemed completely free. More than a song about islands, Golden Islands is about the pieces of paradise we carry with us long after we've left them behind.
