Slow Down Time

Josiah Rivers

Slow Down Time reveals the romantic, soulful side of Josiah Rivers through a warm fusion of Lovers Rock, authentic reggae soul and contemporary R&B. Silky bass, intimate Rhodes piano, offbeat guitar and a relaxed one-drop rhythm surround Josiah's deep vocal as he reflects on how quickly life's smallest moments disappear. Rather than chasing grand gestures, the song celebrates coffee going cold, rain against the window, laughter and simply having someone you love beside you. At its heart is a universal wish: when life finally gives you a moment worth keeping, you wish you could slow down time.
