Sunshine on My Mind

Josiah Rivers

Sunshine on My Mind reveals the brighter side of Josiah Rivers, blending authentic Jamaican reggae foundations with upbeat Reggae Pop, Caribbean soul and subtle funk. A bouncing melodic bassline, crisp offbeat guitar and instantly recognisable instrumental hook drive a warm, infectious groove while Josiah sings about choosing optimism even when life isn't perfect. Rather than pretending difficult days don't exist, the song celebrates the simple decision to keep moving, appreciate what matters and carry a little light through whatever comes next. Feel-good without being shallow, Sunshine on My Mind establishes Josiah as an artist capable of turning genuine reggae foundations into contemporary, highly melodic crossover music.
